This portlet uses the expiration-cache mechanism in the portlet.xml deployment descriptor to request that its content is cached for 1 minute. Note that the reported generation time stays the same after two consecutive browser refresh operations. Note also that when you click one of the links on the portlet (and activate a portlet 'action') the cached content is discarded and the portlet responds to the action with new content.
